Tucked in against the coastline of South San Francisco’s Oyster Point, Kilroy Realty Corporation’s new waterfront campus boasts 12 office buildings, thoughtfully designed workspaces, and a stunning view of the Oyster Point marina and San Francisco Bay. A centerpiece of the campus is The Anecdote, a light-filled restaurant designed to bring people together over coastally inspired food and drink.

Inspired by work on Bon Appétit’s Plant-Forward Culinary Collaborative, Executive Chef Chris Lenza is featuring seasonal ingredients and plant-based proteins in colorful to-go items at the Musical Instrument Museum.

The Commissary team in San Francisco rang in their 5 year anniversary with a grand party for guests, where they toasted to their future while celebrating the restaurant’s past.

Executive Chef Darryl Bell of Foundry & Lux created a barbecue sauce so good it begged to be bottled. Packing more than just a sweet-and-savory punch, Darryl’s Kansas City–style sauce does good as well: 20 percent of proceeds are donated to the nonprofits No Kid Hungry and the Rafiki Foundation.

The Presidio Foods community gardens are thriving, and Bon Appétit chefs are excited to help grow and share local ingredients with their surrounding community.
