Each year, Bon Appétit makes a substantial gift to a food-related nonprofit in honor of our clients, in lieu of physical holiday gifts. This tradition reflects our gratitude for the partnerships we share and our commitment to investing in a more just, resilient food system — one that supports the people who make it possible.
This year, as our holiday gift, we are proud to support Giving Kitchen, a James Beard Award-winning nonprofit that provides critical assistance to food service workers in times of crisis. From illness or injury to housing disasters or the loss of a loved one, Giving Kitchen is there when workers need help most. Through direct financial assistance and access to a wide range of community resources — delivered via a multilingual call center — the organization offers compassionate, practical support to food service workers nationwide.
In a year marked by overlapping crises that have left many people vulnerable, food service workers continue to need extra support. Giving Kitchen’s network of resources ensures that workers facing hardship are met with real help when it matters most.
