Introducing Kristol Bryant, Executive Chef at Porsche Experience Center Atlanta

We’re proud to welcome Executive Chef Kristol Bryant to the Bon Appétit family at the Porsche Experience Center Atlanta.

A Philadelphia native, Kristol made history as the first African American woman to serve as an executive chef in the city’s hotel industry, leading iconic kitchens XIX at the Bellevue Hotel and the Sonesta Hotel’s Art Bar. You may also recognize Kristol as Food Network’s 2019 “Chopped” Champion.

As executive chef at Restaurant 356 at the Porsche Experience Center Atlanta, Kristol leads menu innovation and kitchen operations.

Her culinary philosophy centers on harmony and storytelling through food, which is reflected in her latest venture. “Just as the Porsche 356 was handcrafted with purpose and precision, our menu follows that same commitment,” says Kristol. “We use classical technique and quality, locally sourced ingredients to create dishes that are elegant without being overcomplicated. My approach is refinement through simplicity, something that great cars and great cuisine have in common.”

Kristol’s spring menu features a reimagined version of the Southern staple, shrimp and grits. Her dish pairs garlic tiger shrimp with local stoneground azul grits, piperade, Calabrian chilies and a touch of parmesan cheese. Also on offer is a whole branzino (pictured, left) with baby fennel, new potatoes, and heirloom cherry tomatoes, enhanced with anchovy brown butter and preserved Meyer lemon.

Bryant describes each dish as a food getaway, designed to transport guests who are surrounded by one of the most dynamic driving tracks in the country. “I want guests to leave with the satisfaction of an unforgettable world-class experience.”
