We take a holistic approach to food waste and loss, focusing on preventing waste before it happens and keeping it out of landfills when it does. There’s no better way to address waste than to stop it from happening in the first place.

Alongside our practice of prevention, we’ve been evolving our companywide commitments since 2015, when we embarked on our Low Carbon Lifestyle. The first is that all accounts are tracking waste, using Waste Not™, our proprietary waste tracking system. Next, all accounts will regularly donate uneaten food to food recovery organizations, which helps both prevent waste and address food insecurity in our communities. Finally, all accounts will engage in one waste awareness campaign per year to help educate and engage a broader audience on the issue.
