- by bonappetit
The students have spoken — all 126,000 of them, at 378 top colleges! And according to the Princeton Review’s surveys, four of the 12 campuses with the Best College Food (registration required) are operated by Bon Appétit Management Company!
Coming in at #6 is Wheaton College, in Wheaton, IL, a perennial favorite with students. Wheaton was #6 last year as well, but #1 in 2011, 2008, and 2002.
Neck and neck at #8 and #9 are St. Olaf in Northfield, MN, and Washington University in St. Louis, MO, respectively. Wash U was #5 in 2012 and #7 in 2011; St. Olaf was #13 last year.
And at #11 is Claremont McKenna in Claremont, CA, which also won recognition from the Princeton Review as the Best Run College in America.
The Princeton Review reports the top 20 colleges in 60 categories in the 2014 edition of its book The Best 378 Colleges, released today. The rankings are based on an average of 333 students per campus answering 80 in-depth questions about their school’s academics, administration, student body, and themselves.
Bon Appétit Management Company is particularly proud that it is the only national food service provider whose schools made the Princeton Review’s top 10 list. The other universities honored are all independently operated.
