This is the blog of Bon Appétit Management Company, which New York Times writer Mark Bittman has called “the most principled food services company in the country. Founded in 1987, Bon Appétit has been a pioneer in socially and environmentally responsible food sourcing, launching our Farm to Fork program in 1999, a sustainable seafood program in 2002, and many more initiatives that have galvanized the food service industry.
Here, Bon Appétit team members at our corporate headquarters in Palo Alto, CA, our three Bon Appétit Management Company Foundation Fellows, and our colleagues around the country will share posts about about our Farm to Fork suppliers; campus gardens; Low Carbon Diet Day, Eat Local Challenge Day, and other special events; recipes from our chefs; and the many other activities that make us a unique company.
